It needed as late as Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, taking back their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a compliment to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over five decades.

Once she was out the team needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - a manageable total now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the confidence to do that now," stated Healy further.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, should it happen, we are confident we can succeed."

That comment will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this championship want to hear.
