The nation's top prosecutor declared that Maduro and his wife are subject to indictments in a New York court, such as conspiracy related to drug terrorism, drug smuggling, and firearms violations. It finished by thanking the president for seeking justice and saluting the brave military for a successful operation.
"The Venezuelan leader is not the legitimate leader of Venezuela... Maduro is the leader of a drug trafficking organization... and he is under indictment for pushing narcotics into the America," stated the US Secretary of State.
